Housing Poachers

Housing for the 2025 AHA Annual Meeting will open in mid-September.

Some exhibitors may be contacted by outside vendors regarding housing for the 2025 AHA Annual Meeting. Please be aware that these companies claim to provide housing and registration services for the 2024 AHA Annual Meeting, but are not affiliated with AHA in any way. DON'T BE MISLED!! Housing for AHA's 2025 Annual Meeting is handled exclusively through the AHA's official housing service.

Unfortunately unscrupulous providers sometimes claim to provide housing for meetings and conventions when they are in no way affiliated with the sponsoring organization. This practice is a scam that attendees should be aware of in order to avoid passing on personal or financial information.

Official AHA Housing / Registration

The primary contact for each exhibiting company can register up to 5 staff members per booth. Beginning in mid-September, the primary contact should log in at historians.org/myaha and select Manage My Booth Staff in the 2025 Annual Meeting, New York section.

Housing: Hotel accommodations for the 2025 annual meeting should be made through the annual meeting housing website. 

Note: Maritz Global Events is the Official Housing Provider for the American Historical Association's 138th Annual Meeting.
Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company other than Maritz Global Events is not approved. Reservations made by unaffiliated organizations may appear to have lower rates. However, they may be illegitimate, not have the rooms to sell, have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable. Please be aware of and report any unauthorized solicitation to your organization or Maritz Global Events. Information about housing prices and procedures will be posted on the AHA website http://www.historians.org/annual-meeting/hotels-and-travel.

Note: The AHA contracts out with a selected group of companies the responsibility to perform the various tasks needed to plan and operate the annual meeting and exhibits. The "Official Contractor" logo will help exhibitors identify these companies. 

It is to your advantage to choose the official contractors. The AHA does not associate with any company other than those chosen as the Official Contractor.  Please look for the "Official Contractor" logo when making housing reservations.
